Washington National Cathedral will host the ceremonial seating of the Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe, the 28th presiding bishop of The Episcopal Church, during its Feb. 2 Eucharist service. The 11:15 a.m. ET service will be livestreamed on the cathedral’s channels.

This vision of God’s kingdom, this new reality, is the one to which we Christians are pledged in our baptism above any political preference or policy, and to which our church must bear witness through word and deed.

More than 30 projects—ranging from digital ministries to art shows to immigrant outreach—have been approved for Episcopal Church evangelism grants totaling $123,800. The Executive Council’s Executive Committee approved the grants in December, benefiting dioceses across the U.S. and in Colombia, Dominican Republic, and Ecuador Central.

The Episcopal Church Executive Council is accepting nominations for a clergy member to fill an unexpired term that became vacant when the Rev. Lester Mackenzie, who was elected at the 2024 General Convention, resigned to join Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe’s staff.
