‘Signs and Grace’ video course available in new Episcopal Church, Forward Movement formation partnership
A new, three-session, video-based course about baptism, Eucharist, and the church’s sacramental rites is available for download or streaming with accompanying study guides. “Signs and Grace: An Introduction to the Sacraments” marks the first video collaboration between The Episcopal Church and Forward Movement in a partnership designed to provide free formation resources for dioceses and congregations.

In new formation partnership, Episcopal Church and Forward Movement launch sacraments video series
As The Episcopal Church continues to redefine its formation and evangelism efforts to serve the needs of dioceses, it has produced a new video series about the sacraments in collaboration with Forward Movement. The three 20-minute-long videos—in English with Spanish subtitles—are ideal for newcomer classes, adult formation, and those preparing for confirmation.

Episcopal evangelism grants awarded for projects in U.S., Caribbean, and South America
More than 30 projects—ranging from digital ministries to art shows to immigrant outreach—have been approved for Episcopal Church evangelism grants totaling $123,800. The Executive Council’s Executive Committee approved the grants in December, benefiting dioceses across the U.S. and in Colombia, Dominican Republic, and Ecuador Central.

Applications open for 2024 Episcopal Evangelism grants
Episcopal institutions are invited to apply for evangelism grants to support local and regional efforts to grow Episcopal ministries, resources, and gatherings—and to energize the church to share and celebrate the Good News of Jesus Christ. The application deadline is Oct. 28.
