Kelsey Aebi
Kelsey Aebi is a postulant for the priesthood in the Diocese of East Tennessee, and an M.Div. student at the School of Theology in Sewanee, Tenn. As a seminarian, Kelsey especially enjoys the study of the Hebrew Bible and serving as a sacristan in the Chapel of the Apostles. In her free time, she enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction, praying the rosary, and traveling with her spouse.
Molly Cooke
The Rev. Molly Cooke (she/her) is a cradle-dreidel Episcopalian from an inter-religious family in southeastern Pennsylvania and was ordained to the priesthood in June 2025 in the Diocese of Southern Ohio. She is currently serving Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church and School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., as their School Chaplain and Parish Curate. Before discerning a call to ordained ministry, Molly earned her bachelor’s degree in linguistics from Georgetown University and worked as a research coordinator studying language acquisition in d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing children at Ohio State University. A Bible and liturgy nerd, Molly’s professional passions include cultivating intergenerational spiritual formation, building an inter-religious community, studying biblical languages, and advocating for accessibility in sacred spaces. Molly and her fiancé, Dan, are the doting human servants of three rescue pets: Oreo and Samoa the Cook(i)e cats, and Samson the hound mutt.
Adelle Dennis
Adelle Dennis is a seminarian and candidate for ordination in The Episcopal Church. She is completing her Master of Divinity at the School of Theology in Sewanee, Tenn. She splits her time between Tennessee and South Carolina, where her husband lives, and she will be returning to work in ministry in the Diocese of Upper South Carolina following graduation. Adelle is an Episcopal Service Corps alum and is passionate about youth and young adult formation in The Episcopal Church. She finds God in the Eucharist, intentional community, and long walks in the woods.
Jason Flack
Jason Flack is a transitional deacon in the Episcopal Diocese of Florida. He is finishing his final year of seminary at Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Wisconsin, where he lives with his wife and puppy. Upon graduation, he will be serving as curate at Church of Our Saviour in Jacksonville, Florida. In his free time, Deacon Jason loves experimenting with specialty coffee and spending time with friends outside.
Tina Francis
Tina Francis is a seminarian and writer preparing for ordination in The Episcopal Church. She is completing her Master of Divinity at the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas, where she lives with her husband and son. Born to South Indian parents and raised across Dubai, Canada, and Seattle, she carries a love for stories that cross borders. She finds God in conversation, shared meals, and a well-made cup of masala chai.
Deepu Varughese George
The Rev. Deepu Varughese George is a transitional deacon and candidate for the priesthood in the Diocese of West Texas, currently serving as deacon-in-charge at Grace Episcopal Church in Weslaco, Texas. He completed his theological education at Nashotah House Theological Seminary with a Master’s in Pastoral Ministry in a Hybrid-Distance Program. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Science and is currently an associate professor in family medicine at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. His work focuses on integrating behavioral health into primary care to increase access to mental health in the Rio Grande Valley, a region located along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Milton Gilder
Milton Gilder is a recent graduate of Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. He originally hails from Long Beach, California. He attended Duke University and lived in Durham, North Carolina, where he worked in education, technology, and youth ministry for several years. Milton enjoys traveling the world, cooking all sorts of creations, and getting outside in nature. He is a postulant discerning Holy Orders at the Episcopal Church in Connecticut.
Quincy Hall
Quincy Hall is deacon-in-charge at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Birmingham and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Montevallo. He is passionate about preaching good news for a wounded world and helping the church become a place of beauty, mercy, justice, and belonging. A Franciscan at heart, he shares life and ministry with Francis, his schnauzer and unofficial office manager who reminds him to take time for fresh air and a little fun.
Sami Hency
Faced with a deep thirst for the Bible from a young age, Sami Hency‘s wisdom and experience have been acquired from across denominational boundaries. Born a Southern Baptist, shaped by formative years in Messianic Judaism and later non-denominational life, she ultimately found The Episcopal Church balanced a blend of scripture, tradition, reason, and logic she’d been seeking. Her first Sunday attending St. Timothy’s on Cincinnati’s eastside, a lesbian couple’s child was baptized. As a gay person, witnessing the inclusion and celebration of the LGBTQ+ community in the church was a turning point. Her eventual work as communication director for the parish has formed her consideration for language and proclamation, as well as deepened her love for the Daily Office. Sami is currently completing a Master of Divinity at Bexley-Seabury Episcopal Seminary. When not at church or studying, she enjoys biking, sketching buildings, and spending time with her partner and friends.
Ellen Huckabay
Ellen Huckabay, from the Diocese of the Central Gulf Coast, is a senior Master of Divinity student at the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas, where she is pursuing the ordination track. She is married to George, and together they have a son, Will. Ellen is currently discerning a call to parish ministry and brings a deep commitment to pastoral care and outreach work.
Misty Krasawski
Misty Krasawski is a nominee for holy orders in the Episcopal Diocese of Tennessee. Previously, she earned a Master of Letters in Bible and the Contemporary World from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. She has eight children, ages 16-33, three daughters and one son-in-law, as well as four grandchildren, and has spent decades in ministry to children, youth, and mothers with Whole Heart Ministries and in her local church. She would love to spend more time exploring the intersections of maternity, theology, and feminism, and believes that better theology helps us all move toward a better world.
Kelly Lauer
Kelly Lauer is a postulant for holy orders in the Diocese of Los Angeles, discerning a call to parish ministry. She is currently completing a Master of Divinity at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific. In addition to seminary studies, full-time work in college administration, and co-parenting two teenagers with her spouse, Kelly enjoys creating art and making music.
Brandon Medley
Brandon Medley is a candidate for the priesthood in the Diocese of Georgia. He is a senior in the hybrid M.Div. program at the General Theological Seminary and currently serves at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Valdosta, Georgia. He works as an elementary school behavior interventionist. Brandon enjoys sharing life with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two dogs, Fred and Betty. He enjoys hiking, birding, and Star Wars.
Katelyn Printz
Katelyn Printz is a postulant from the Diocese of East Tennessee currently in her second year at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Va. Prior to being in seminary, Katelyn worked as a kindergarten teacher at a play-based Episcopal school in Kingsport, Tenn., and at the local yoga studio. As a part of her studies, she is working at Saint Columba’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C., and loves being involved with children’s ministry and weekly worship services there. In her free time, she loves hot yoga, reading novels, and hiking with her husband, Ben, and their dogs, Max and Athena.
Jerrick Rutherford
Jerrick Rutherford was born and raised in Guyana, South America, and is currently a postulant for the priesthood in the Diocese of Newark. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Education from the Cyril Potter College of Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Guyana. He also holds a Master of Science in General and Special Education as well as a master’s degree in School Leadership from Columbia University and is presently completing a Master of Divinity at Bexley Seabury Theological Seminary. A lifelong educator, Jerrick has taught in Guyana, Botswana, and New York City. He currently serves as vice principal of Bronx Bridges High School, a public high school dedicated to serving English language learners. His professional work reflects a strong commitment to equity, leadership, and the transformative power of education.
Debie Thomas
Debie Thomas is a transitional deacon at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Palo Alto, Calif., and a seminarian at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific. She is a columnist and contributing editor for The Christian Century and the author of “Into the Mess and Other Jesus Stories” and “A Faith of Many Rooms: Inhabiting a More Spacious Christianity.” She and her husband have two grown children and live in northern California.
Paige Trivett
Paige Trivett (she/her) is a senior seminarian at Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas, and a candidate for Holy Orders with the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. She has past experience working in leadership for her diocese’s summer camp ministry and has served as a mentor in the Education for Ministry program. Paige’s current ministry interests include multicultural parish ministry and hospital chaplaincy.
Chesirae Valentine-Karlin
Ms. Chesirae Valentine-Karlin is a seminarian at the General Theological Seminary, the director of children and youth at All Angels’ Church on the Upper West Side, and a postulant to the priesthood from the Diocese of Arizona. When not writing papers or teaching acolytes, she’s probably playing in Central Park with her husband, James, son, Beckett, and cat, Ruah.
Ethan White
Ethan White is a candidate for Holy Orders in the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia and is working toward a Master of Divinity at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Va. Previously, he worked in youth and family ministry at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Richmond, Va., and earned a B.A. in Music and History from Sewanee: The University of the South. Ethan is a native of Savannah, Ga., and enjoys playing and writing music in his free time as a vehicle for building community.
