Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria

With about 2.3 million members, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria is part of the larger Protestant Church in Germany. In 2013, The Episcopal Church and Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria established a dialogue, leading to a full communion relationship in 2024 based on the agreement titled “Sharing the Gifts of Communion (Augsburg Agreement).”
