Letter outlines process for hiring next General Convention executive officer
The following letter from Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and House of Deputies President Julia Ayala Harris was sent to The Episcopal Church’s Executive Council, explaining the process for hiring the next executive officer of the General Convention Office. The Rev. Michael Barlowe announced Jan. 16 that he plans to retire from that role in August.

Title IV update on bishop of Wyoming
The Rt. Rev. Mary Gray-Reeves, acting in her role as presiding bishop-designate for some Title IV matters, announced today that she and the Rt. Rev. Paul-Gordon Chandler, bishop of the Episcopal Church in Wyoming, have entered an accord resolving the Title IV charges against him. The Disciplinary Board for Bishops has approved this accord as required by church canons.
