As Episcopalians, we promise through our baptismal covenant to “strive for justice and peace among all people” and to “respect the dignity of every human being.” In interreligious relationships, we do this by our commitment to learn about ourselves and about our partners.  
 
We approach interreligious work ecumenically—in collaboration with other Christians—such as in the National Council of Churches-facilitated dialogues. We strive to honor our differences while foregrounding the needs of the common good: justice and peace, anti-racism, gender justice, ecological care, migration, and other complex geopolitical issues.
