Capitalize in racial, ethnic, or cultural references and use as an adjective: Black people, Black colleges, Black literature. Do not use Black as a singular or plural noun. See also race-related and ethnic references

The Episcopal Church’s African Descent Ministries prefers to use “people/person of African descent” to refer to all those born on the continent of Africa and of the African diaspora.
